Annual Dues:
The annual dues will be determined by the Board of Directors on a yearly basis and shall be due on or before the First day of July each year.
Dues Schedule:
Ages 21 and up – $350 per year
Special membership: The Board of Directors reserves the right to grant special honorary memberships without charge, or to discount the charge to certain members on a discretionary basis.
To avoid a conflict of interest, ALL Directors must pay dues in full.
Payments are to be submitted to the club Treasurer either by check or electronic payment. A $25 fee will be assessed for checks returned for insufficient funds.
Spouses and Children:
Member’s spouse (companion) and children under the age of 21 may hunt on the member’s dues.
Members shall be accountable for their family’s conduct and actions. Any violation by any family member will be charged against the sponsor member.
Guest Policy:
Guests are permitted during any hunting season, however, the Board of Directors must be notified prior to arrival, and only One Guest per Sponsor Member is allowed during firearms portions of Deer season.
Guests are permitted only when accompanied by a Sponsor Member and may be designated as either a Hunting Guest or Non-Hunting Guest.
Non-Hunting guests are permitted free of charge.
Hunting Guests are subject to a fee of $200 per weekend. Members are responsible for ensuring Guests understand the Rules and Regulations and Members are responsible for Guest transportation to and from Stand location.
Members shall be accountable for their guest’s conduct and actions. Any violation by a guest will be charged against the Sponsor Member.
Access to the Property:
Club members are entitled to access property designated as approved by the Landowner.
Members may access the property at any time in a frequency which would be considered reasonable for its intended use.
Members must notify the Board of Directors prior to access and utilize the shared Club Calendar system to ensure availability of lodging.
Unannounced access is prohibited. This is for your safety and the safety of all Club Members and Landowners.
Landowners are exempt from this notification requirement, however, will have access to the Club Calendar to ensure lodging availability.
No Member may “claim in advance” any structure, bed, couch, etc. All lodging amenities are at a first come first serve basis. All members agree to an honorable system of respecting elders, women, and children when prioritizing sleeping arrangements.
Respect towards Others:
All members shall respect the rights of others and shall conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner towards other members, families, and guests.
Safety of Others:
Safety is paramount. The following rules of safety are non-negotiable and exist to protect each other and our families.
No firearm may be chambered within any building structure.
Target shooting and rifle sighting may be done only in an area designated for such activity and only after present members of the Club have been notified that shooting will commence.
Target shooting must be done in a reasonable manner. Any shooting that is disruptive to neighboring Landowners must cease.
No firearm may be discharged after legal hunting hours.
Missouri hunter orange requirements must be enforced during Deer rifle season.
Respect of the Land and Property:
Cutting, destroying and damaging timber (outside the scope of reasonable land maintenance and shooting lane improvements) is prohibited.
Intentionally destroying or damaging food plots, roadways, fields, fences, gates, locks, equipment, club property or any other personal property is prohibited and grounds for club termination and/or prosecution.
Members must not leave any fires unattended. Individuals caught setting brush fires will be expelled and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
All garbage must be dumped in designated areas. Members littering or dumping garbage on Club property will be subject to fines and / or expulsion.
Respect towards Game Law:
Members must hunt with a current valid Missouri Hunting License and obey all Missouri game laws and regulations.
Should at any time Club regulations conflict or not fully address a situation or scenario, Missouri Law will take precedence under all circumstances.
Respect towards Landowner:
Landowner rights supersede Members rights in all circumstances.
Landowner reserves the right to remove any Member from the property at any time for any reason.
Members and their Guests will in no way interfere with the Landowner or any contractor operating on the Club leased property, performing any work such as logging, site prep, tree planting, road maintenance, etc. Right-of way must be given and use of caution is required.
Stands:
Stands purchased through Club funds are property of the Club. If a Member wishes to purchase an additional stand, that stand location must be approved by the Board of Directors and must be no closer than 200 yards distance from any Club Stand location.
VIOLATION OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS COULD RESULT IN FINES, SUSPENSION AND / OR EXPULSION FROM THE LUCKY DOG HUNTING CLUB.
